MBA, Master of Business Administration invites to the conference: “Why Airplanes Fall Out of the Sky”.
Dr. Lyons served as a change agent and senior ethics & leadership advisor to the Boeing company during the 737 MAX crisis. During this period, she completed her action research dissertation, which focused on managing change in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (VUCA) environment. This presentation identified the catastrophes’ contributing factors, and what leaders can do to avoid ethical leadership failures that undermine the culture and business outcomes.
Colleen Lyons joined Boeing in 2013 as the Ethics Advisor, Vertical Lift; she moved to St. Louis in 2015 to serve in a senior capacity for Boeing’s $12B global defense services business. Prior to Boeing, Colleen served as the Ethics Officer for the VA Puget Sound Health Care System, founded EthicalStability and served as a consultant to the Corporate Governance Forum in the Middle East.
